Benchmarking DirectX 10

3DMark, previously known as Mad Onion Software created a new benchmark and released it to public. Software called 3DMark Vantage builds upon successful history of 3Dmark 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2006, but for the first time it supports DirectX 10 exclusively…

Please see the following presentations on Vantage, and some videos of test in action.

3DMark Vantage DX10

3DMark Vantage is very demanding on hardware and will stress your DX10 graphics card. If you are serious about gaming, your graphics card should pass this test with at least 3000 points, and if you think you have a future proof card (for at least next two years), it has to reach at least 5000 points.

Not many cards do, but next generation of DX10 graphics boards is coming out to market in summer 2008!
